Energy Plug Technologies believes that “micro-grids”—defined as localized groups of electricity sources that can operate synchronously or independently from a main grid—are poised to become an increasingly integral part of modern energy infrastructure.
Energy Plug announced today that it is working with Enwind Power, a Taiwanese company specializing in the research and development of power sciences and battery based applications, to further advance micro-grid technology in Canada and beyond.
In partnership with Malahat Battery Technologies, the pair of clean-techs intend to collaborate on the research and development of micro-grid application system products and utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System products.
